Errr. I think I'm not receiving all messages.
I received Ed's message, then Schaltstern, then again Ed. And I didn't
receive Stevie's message.
Or am I missing something?

Yes Stevie, that sounds like good news that they're not discontinuing
the A6 - I'll ring up DV tomorrow and let you know what they say.
 
Both DV and Turnkey have a good reputation for items that have to be
returned so I'm hoping I can get a new one - and then that will be that.
It may even be worth plugging it in and trying the new machine in the
shop before you take it home - it's possible to tell v quickly if the
VCOs are ok. 
 
I'm hoping that the number of faulty machines is very small - Shaltstern
says that his is ok (and his machine is only 38 machines away from ours)
 
Out of interest, which branch of DV did you go to? I'm hoping to refer
to your case if you don't mind. But I won't if you'd rather I didn't.
