I'm using a dedicated program called A6 Banker.

It has tailormade features to transfer banks, single sounds, split banks into single sysex files when it download to PC and some other things. Very good program, and works only with A6. I love the fact that you can split a bank into single files when it downloads to the computer. So you can just reload the sounds you particularly like in a bank and toss the rest, instead of uploading the entire bank again for a few sounds you liked.

For new sounds, you should definately go to

 and check out the users archive. There are hundreds of sysex files there, many put inside a couple of bigger soundbanks too. And most of the MP3 samples are samples of those sounds to show them off. Check out the big Hints&Tricks PDF file too, awesome source of programming info. They unearth heaps of tricks you won't learn from the manual. These sounds are heads and shoulders above the factory presets, simply because they are made for musical purposes, not just to show off this and that cool feature, and make people go OOOOOH and AAAAAAH when they hit a single key in the store.

Here are more full banks from the creators of sounds of the factory banks. One bank from each creator. Much better than the factory-loaded sounds.

  hi everyone,

  i have had an andromeda for about 3 months now and its my most prized synth.i am not the best sound designer in the world actually i suck but i love giving it a go and learning.

  im wanting to make some tunes mainly electro house and breaks and was wondering if there any patch banks for down load in this style then i can just tweak those to suit.

  also what do u guys use to transfer your sysex to andro i was planning on just using protools but im unable to edit sysex in protools.
