Now we're talking, people! I like hearing this work. It gives the
discussion some context. And it breaks some of my own ideas about
how the synth can be used. That is exciting. Also, I really like
this non-linear composition style.
For my own part, the A6 is prominent on many tracks from my electro-
pop record:

Although Juno, Matrix, DX7IID and MicroKorg also figure prominently.
Songs "take a chance", "lucky lady", "big silence" are all A6 heavy,
but it's all over the place. I'm sure you folks will recognize more
than a few patches. I really did make quite a few of my own! But
more importantly, the A6 is the heavyweight on stage as most of the
album sounds were programmed into the A6 and used in MIXes.
I have often thought that factory sound designers are sort of like
the 'funk brothers' of electronic music. Their sounds get used,
sometimes defining an entire era (think DX7) yet nobody knows who
they are. Some time soon, I will issue mad props for some of my
favorite presets. They really do blow me away.
