[A6] Having an A6 repaired....

Hi List,

My A6 has developed a few problems and I'm going to have it repaired (as its 
still under warrantee).  I bought it at a SamAsh and when I talked with my 
salesman at SAmAsh he told me just to bring it into the store and they would 
take care of it.  When I spoke with the people at Alesis they told me not to 
give it back to SAmAsh but to send it in.  I'd rather give it to SamAsh as I 
would save about $75 in shipping costs but then again I want it done right.  
I'm nearing the end of my warrantee so I'd like to get it done right the 
first time!
Anyone have any comments?  How long does Alesis take for repairs?  I'll have 
to call my SAmAsh and see how backed up they are as well.
