Shall I launch into a diatribe about how today's
VA tone, while inspiring to those Euro charts,
basically killed the synth (save for those old
Moogs) out of the minds of the trendies of college
America? Nah. :)

The "majors" I think (especially being Japanese,
them all) only see the techno market, which pretty
much has faded into Eurotrance VA zone by now,
IMHO. And honestly the only reason they even saw
*this* was the Clavia Nord Lead.
Which is for good reason. I could also launch yet
*another* diatribe about how the bass in today's
so-called "hip hop" ain't deep and rich, TR-808
samples notwithstanding. If a naff Whitney Houston
ballad from the 1980s schools certain modern
hip-hop songs on bass, it is time to pack up
and start over. :)

Insert another diatribe about all these bored
unemployed Europeans pirating plugins. I wonder
how much less Europe would make if it weren't for
Chinese warez sites and P2P. :)
