Isn't it good to leave amps on? I know mine sound better when I do, also 
turning amps on and off is normally when they fail. I thought the myth came 
from that... or do you think that is bogus as well?

Of course valve gear can also sound sweeter if its been on for a few 
hours... but I'd turn everything else off unless you're actually using it
