[A6] Solutions for A6 CC's clogging MIDI sequence in Cubase?

There's an option to control MIDI density on the A6, if you hit the 
Global button and poke around.

However, if you can get it to play back properly with only the lead part 
going, why not record the lead by itself as audio before mixing with the 
other parts?
