[A6] Anyone tried this with an A6?

Yep, one should pair it with an external sequencer. God knows there are
ridiculously powerful soft sequencers out there too. Just a matter of
getting the most from the absurdly good instrument in the most
expeditious way.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree with you more. My personal
opinion is that this is the Ultimate analogue
polysynth. There has never been one like this, and I
don't expect there will ever be another one to match
it. And the sequencer is indeed a very powerful tool.
However, I do find that creating a sequence on my Fat
Controller is way, way more fun than creating it on my
A6, just because of the user interface: the tactility
of 16 dedicated sliders and a few knobs so leaves the
A6 interface in the dust... 8 small knobs and a
display just doesn't do it: I constantly find myself
changing the wrong parameter, and then having to inch
that particular knob very carefully back to its
original position (if I happen to remember it). And
changing more than one sequence value at the same
time, live, is possible in only a very limited way.
As powerful as the A6 is, as much as I love it: if I
have a tool to improve on its user experience (or its
already mind-boggling capabilities), I won't hesitate
to use it.
