[A6] low frequency noise on key release?

No it's definitely not a distortion thing, but thanks anyway.  There's 
no distortion on the Venus Bass patch I attached previously.  Are you 
saying you don't hear the noise on any patches?

I think this is a different issue from the PWM "grating" (only happens 
on key release, with fast engine settings, and doesn't seem to be tied 
to PWM at all).  Basically it seems like if the filter is set to a fast 
mode a midrange noise is produced when either it or the VCA envelope 
closes (if you adjust the VCA release time the noise changes, which to 
me indicates some kind of interaction), and this noise is masked on 
patches with audible midrange content (and hence you can hear it best 
with bass sounds).  However I can't really pinpoint it more than that. 
I guess I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

I'd still be very interested to hear if somebody _doesn't_ have this 
problem with the patch I attached.
