[A6] about to receive an a6 and I have a question

Banks will be loaded in the user bank.

Be sure you have backed up your user bank as you will lose whatever is there.

1) load soundbank
2) select any program in new soundbank (user bank) - this is to select user bank
3) press STORE button
4) press Soft Button #3 (COPY)
5) PRG BANK should be highlighted in upper left by default
6) turn Soft Pot #7 until DSTBNK reads "CARD X" where X is the bank number on your SRAM card
7) press STORE button
