[A6] Mod wheel

it has certainly been quite here on the A6 list lately,.. and all the 
pages on A6 community website "* 
http://www.siouxstudios.com/A6_www/index.html# *" all default to the 
index.html page..

here is my question,
is the mod wheel on the A6 supposed to do anything at all ?

on mine only on a very select few patches does it have any audible 
effect, and the effect is only very slight,. and only at the very top 
90% of the wheel about .2 centimeters before it reaches the top and cant 
go any further.

is my wheel bad ? is this an easy fix ? or should I just send the unit 
back since I still am under the 45 day no paying for shipping warranty ??
