[A6] Just recieved my new andromeda, appears to be a lemon

just took it out of the box, got it from AMS as a NFS item.

plugged it in . plugged headphones into the headphone jack,.

It powers up but thats about it the display screen does not change from 
the A6 initial display and I cant get the unit to do anything else, play 
notes when I play keys,. change programs, the screen does not change 
when I press view buttons for any of the controllers.

none of the controller lights light up.

The only thing i can do is change the contrast and perform a software reset.


seems like i may have got a lemon,.

any suggestions before I call AMS to have them send me a shipping label 
to send it back ?
