I am also converted to analog by a good friend, after years of using 
Waldorf XT and Q as main synths. It's the second conversion in my life 
:-))

Did not regret the A6 for a second, and am still not regretting the 
purchase of a second A6. 32 voice analog heaven.

I know some modulars produce again even far more accurate oscillators 
and filters in the analog domain, but the gap between analog and VA is 
WAY bigger then the gap between a "normal" analog like the A6 and some 
high end modulars.

The strange thing is, you can only convince people about the HUGE 
difference between analog and VA by demonstrating it with the two 
different synths side to side. NObody takes it for granted :-)) 
Weird... For myself, I "saw the light" after buying a Doepfer A-100 
modular. Not exactly state of the art analog, but the SOUND you can 
produce with it, flattens out ANY VA easily.
