[A6] Mini vs A6 part 2 (and CS80)

You should get his oldest stuff. Even before he got the CS-80, he was still using that awesome string/brass sound from other synths.
Spiral (1977) has a great sequence through the title song.
China (1979) has some of his best hits, very ambient and beautiful album too. Lots of CS-80 there, and
not only the brass sound. It CAN do anything any other subtractive synths can, you know :)
Opera Sauvage (1979), more CS-80 goodness. These songs are so lovely, specially Irlande. Best sawtooth lead sound ever. He also uses some acoustic instruments.
Direct from 1988 is also really cool, but quite different from the 70's stuff. It's more of a digital synth/drum machine album, but still with V.'s signature style and sounds.

Sorry for going off-topic, folks :)

I borrowed the soundtrack from the library a couple of months ago, although it has samples from the film interwoven into some of the tracks. Still good though!

Hahahah!! That is a total bummer dream.. I usally get those, but I am
looking at a check for 100k.

Blade Runner is my fav. Too bad that album never got a proper
release. Ridley Scott made some bad choices in the end. And I am
still waiting for a decent transfer of the film. Hopefully they have
a brand new transfer for Blade Runner when Blue Ray comes out.
