Actually that comment did stand out when first reading it.  I wondered if 
something might be wrong of if you were just stuck in that "muddy patch" 
mode of the A6.  Hopefully nothing is wrong with your Andy.  : )

As for differences in synths, I think we are in agreement.  I was just 
asking for clarification on what you meant by magic.  From your reply it 
sounds like your are referring to a combination of that and immediacy.  It's 
a lot easier for you two bring out the magic on a Matrix-6.  I know what you 
are saying.  The Juno-106 is a good exampe of that as well - it's nearly 
impossible to make it not sound good in that Roland Juno-106 way that is. 
But of course you couldn't come near some of what you can on an A6.  On the 
side, I think it's funny and awesome that the Matridx-6R is the synth for 
you in this regards.  So many complain about how difficult it is to program. 
I find it amazingly simple.  The Matrix-6 was my first and favorite and 
probably always will be, so cheers to that.
