1) tape down the master tune knob.  Why, oh why, is this RIGHT BESIDE  
master volume?  Very easy to bump into live, very easy to not notice  
for three songs that the TUNE LED has gone out and you are rocking  
away at A433.14159.  Better yet, the TUNE LED could turn red when  
it's not green.  I'll be investigating a mod for mine.

2) mod RIBBON HOLD LED so it's BRIGHT SPANKING RED and FLASHING!  I  
will be doing this shortly to mine, since the warranty's up soon.

In other news, it looks like Kris Rhen's Aurora page has finally  
vanished.  I emailed a while ago asking about the Hantronix display  
part number that was used in his project, but no response.  Does  
anyone here happen to have this info?  I'm going blind squinting at  
the A6 display.  I see a post in the archives indicating that the  
blue-on-white was a one-off, but the problem isn't the colour, it's  
the contrast. (or lack of it).

Noritake would be fine too.  If anyone has it handy.
