[A6] mute transistors have gone out? [repost]

If the aux and individual outputs work, then it is possible that the volume pot may be the problem.  It may have worked loose from the board or have broken.  It is a stereo pot and they are not rugged, bumping them too hard will crack their cases and render them useless.  I had that problem once.  The only other stereo pots are the one with big knobs - filter cutoff and VCO octave.  Be *GENTLE* with these.
