i only changed the top four (under the screen) for big ones. the lower 
line of four were left small knobs

this way i had  enough space left to properly grab the " screenknobs".
and anyway , miraclously ,  this way the four big ones  are on the most 
used functions , for me.
 the small original knobs where swapped with the fine fine tune of the 
oscillators  , and the keyboardtrackingknob of the filters ( mostly set 
at  50 or 0 anyway )
