Hi Jeff,

I'm still working on this myself but here's what I have so far.

I have the same equipment except I'm using Digital Performer. I was
advised to sync the A6 to the Jomox because the timing is so tight. To
do that, I set the Jomox to midi channel 1 and the A6 to midi channel
2. I set the Jomox to internal and the A6 to external. That's all you
have to do for the Jomox.

On the A6 > Global > soft button 5, set TXMODE to MIDI. On the Sync/Mod
View > set soft button 5 is set to CLOCK. Then if you want to use the
Arp, go to soft button 4, set it to MIDI instead of Clock. If you can't
turn the Arp on, go back to Global > soft button 5, set TXMODE to
LOCMID, turn the Arp on and then set the TXMODE to MIDI.

The other day I had the A6 global set to > soft button 5, TXMODE > MIDI
and I don't recall not being able to turn on the arp. Today it won't
let me do that so I actually have it set to LOCMID and it doesn't seem
to make a difference in sync'ing the two.

If you want to sync the Jomox to the A6 you would set everything the
opposite way.

If you're recording to audio this should do it. If you're recording
Midi, you will need to set Sonar to receive sync and to slave to
external sync. However, the Jomox does not like a lot of Midi input (pg
33) so you will need to filter out some Midi input data. I'm still
working out that part.

If anyone else has any input, feel free to advise.

Sioux
