Got myself a sweet Minimoog this week - it's in very good condition -
see pic - and has a Kenton Midi kit in it, which needs calibration.

- Also the Andromeda can do very close leads actually, and it does convey
the same character,
but its not as snappy and the filter/VCOs sound more mettalic,
although the Minimoog has a kinda mettalic top end as well on some settings.

The A6 also does sound similar to a minimoog on a VCO setting of 16',
but the Minimoog's 32' setting is beyond the A6 even with sub-oscillators.
Just not the same kind of purry growl

It's not as big sounding as you'd expect. get a poly for things a monosynth
can't do :)

Some Minimoog mp3s

Here is a 5min jam on it :)

there is one key that freaks out the Mini - you can hear it in this clip :)
- dirty contact - goes away when you press harder - I have fixed it now BTW
