Just to topen a can of worms, a producer friend bought an A6, after hearing
mine. He loaded in some of my patches and called me to bring mine down. We
tried mine and certain sounds had different noises in the attack (very very dark
sounds with no "treble"). Mine didn't. He tried it on all the A6's in the shops
- they all did it. But all the older one's he's tried don't do it. Not a
problem for everybody, but he loved whatever sound that was that mine would make -
one of his main reasons for getting an A6.

Cannot reach a conclusion about this (true), but I do believe there are
differences we do not know about. Not good or bad, but different. Roland used to
(still does) claim there are no differences in D-50s, but some have different
screens avaiable and different values for the presets. Those ARE differences!
