No problem -- it's nothing compared to what you're volunteering :)

I actually worried it was kinda bossy ...

great!

One thing: when you reply to a message on a mailing list, try to

(a) be consistent with the person before you to reply, if you are also
including text from not only the parent but the text from two or more
posts ago (as you did in your last message to the A6 list). That is, if
they replied below the poster before them (as I replied below you),
reply below if you are also quoting your original, doubly-indented text,
and if they replied above, reply above ... otherwise you generally have
your pick of above or below (although some people will tell you that you
should always reply below if you don't want an AOL-subscriber style ML
(gasp!), but I could care less personally).

e.g.

text3
 >> text1
 > text2

(or)

 >text2
 >> text1
text3

(b) cut out non-essential text. It makes reading messages easier,
reduces the volume of mail, reduces the size of the archive, etc. etc.
People can always look back in their mailbox if they need more
information about the parent post ...

Most people forget to do this sometimes, some people just aren't aware
of it, and it's not clear why it matters until you do something like go
through the archives or have big extended discussions, or presumably
manage a huge mailing list (which the A6 list is not).

Cheers,
Chris
