That's not true of all Andromedas.  I've been gigging on the 
club/festival circuit with mine since 2001 and it has never complained 
of humidity or cold.  It has survived 100 deg F summer heat and humidity 
and did not complain from being fired up after being brought in from 
single digit winter weather.
