[A6] tips and tricks

now that people are talking about updating the tips and tricks section, let me just say that i think that is a fantastic idea.

im still learning the synth and while ive gotten A LOT of help from the tips and tricks, and im very thankful its there because id be hopelessly lost without it, there are a few things i would still like to know.

for instance, these days, a lot of electronica, and even rock, have been incorporating these pads that sound like beatiful air.  Listen to ulrich schnauss, manitoba, or even the doves and hopefully u will hear what i'm talking about, because i definitely cant put the sound into words.  the "air" seems to come in and out and undulate with soft guitars in ulrich schnauss.  i can't figure out if its a synth or a guitar that has gone through a lot of effect

i've been trying to make pads airy with white noise, but all i get is a distorted white noise synth sound.  obviously i suck at programming but maybe someone can point me in the right direction
