Anyway, I live in Australia and I bought my A6 new from the states, I had it 
shipped by UPS and had to pay a %10 import duty, even then I saved a lot of 
money, obviously taking the risk with the warranty and stuff. It came in 
original packaging and good condition but it had taken a slight, but obvious, 
knock on the front left corner, it hasn't affected the operation, from what I 
can tell and i can't say if that happened in shipping or if they sold me a 
shop "soiled" unit since they thought it was unlikely I'd return it...
I paid around the US$130 mark for shipping so if being overweight with your 
luggage is less then that, that's the way to go...
