another trick to get a faster triangle shaped lfo:
use the tracking generator !
1 setup the lfo: take a tri waveform, set level to 25, phase to 50 , use 
positive wave only
2 setup the tracking generator: input is ( the  setup under 1)  lfo
    for a doubling of the speed you'll need 3 stages.( for setup easiest 
begin with the last stage)
    set stage 3 to input =100 , output =0
    set stage 2 to input = 50 ,  output = 50
    set stage 1 to input = 0 ,    output = 0
3 use for modulation purposes the tracking generator level as modulation

when wanting to have an lfo 4 times faster use 5 stages.
           inputs are  resp: 0/ 25/50/75/100. ( stage 1,2,3,4,5)
corresponding outputs:0/ 50/ 0/ 50/   0

an 8 times faster lfo uses 9 stages:
inputs:values: 0/ 12,5/25/ 37,5/50/62.5/75/87,5/100
         outputs:0/ 50 /  0 /  50   /  0 / 50 / 0 /  50 /  0
at very high  frequenciesranges inconsequencies occur and the proccesor 
has to stretch to the max
