Hi all.. This has othing to do with A6, I hope you don't all lynch me for
sending it here, if you don't live in Europe or don't care, please ignore and
forgive me:-)

My reason for writing this is that I'm looking for interesting things to do
while I am travelling. I'm into relatively underground stuff which is not
always easy to find out about on the internet. I was hoping that anyone who is
into a local scene in one of the places I'm visiting (particularly, I guess,
Berlin and Paris) could tell me about the clubs or concerts they know are
coming up or even just cool/interesting places to visit.

I live in Australia and at the end of May I am travelling to Poland (I am
Polish) where I will spend four weeks. Then for the next few weeks, I am
travelling by rail, through Germany (around the 24th of June) and France
(beginning of July), then a little through Switzerland (maybe one or two days)
and lastly to Vienna (by the 12th of July). My itinerary isn't set in stone so
I can really make a stop anywhere along the way if there is a good reason.. I
know you're all probably thinking "bastard!" but this is the first time I will
be going to Poland since I left 20 years ago when I was only seven, so it
really is about bloody time:-)

Firstly let me say, I am not looking to freeload and I am not scrounging for
free accommodation or anything like that. I have a full time job, this is a
reunion/holiday for me, I'm not a student "backpacking". Also, I'm travelling
with someone so I'm not even specifically looking to meet anyone, if that
concerns you (it isn't my aim, but I haven't ruled out the possibility
entirely). I'm just hoping people can help me find cool places or events to
visit, I would, of course, return the favour if anyone is planning a trip to
Melbourne, Australia:-)

I'm into **being an A6 owner of course:-)** just about any "synth" music, but
mainly into the industrial/goth scene **more industrial then goth, I like
sisters of mercy but I don't wear make up;-)** and electro/glitch stuff. But I
like most of that underground stuff like dark wave, Lo-Fi, power noise, IDM,
all that sort of thing and even into a bit of synth pop, punk and jazz. I'm not
really into just mainstream techno or trance or house or that kind of dance
club stuff but if it has at least a bit of an "edge" then I don't mind. Bands
I'm into are Beefcake (big time at the moment), Haujobb, Front 242, Ministry,
Rollins Band, Cubanate, Gridlock, Prodigy, Covenant, Einsturzende Neubauten
(who are touring but I'll miss them, doh!), Kraftwerk, Front Line Assembly,
Mentallo and the Fixer, PWEI, you'd get the idea by now:-)

If you think you can help me at all, probably just reply directly to me, don't
hassle the whole list any more then I have here:-)
I apologise for being terrible at writing concise email, they all seem to end
up huge like this. Thank you all for putting up with me and take care.
