Of course.  Can you please make lists of the 3 preset banks that came 
with your A6, so people know whether or not to send in their preset 
banks?  This shouldn't take you very long.

It might be a good idea to keep track of author names and email

A unix programmer familiar with the gnu commandline tools could probably 
write a script to compare the patches pretty quickly ... they're all in 
chunks of 2048 bytes in a sysex file and each one ends in F7 ... anybody?

I would suggest that if a sound is derived from another patch and just 
tweaked a little, that it be named with the original name + a number 
(e.g. Matrixstring II in your example above).  Of course, this is up to 
whoever names the sound in the first place . . .
