That would be fantastic!

I don't know how much work it takes, but it would be great if we could 
sort them:

1) by name
2) by author / original location (?)
3) by sound (bass, strings, etc.)

To start, why not take the 5 banks from Alesis' website plus the 1 user 
bank and 2 preset banks in your own machine.  Then let's get people to 
send you their preset banks -- there's subtle differences between them 
depending on when your machine was manufactured and we wanna make sure 
we get everything (especially my Strawberry Flutes patch . . . )

If you get that far, that's already quite impressive, and from there if 
you want to pass the torch on to someone else for managing the 
user-created patches then you can.
