[A6] do the A6 midi CCs work properly?

it seems to me that they don't - or that there are undocumented adjustments
to be made that I don't know about??

The volume range available from my windcontroller attached to CC-H is about
40% of what I can achieve using the Evolver for example. The A6 won't go
loud enough and won't go quiet enough - the repsonse range seems lamentable

Can anyone comment on this? Has anyone themselves, or even heard of anyone
who has sucessfully configured the A6 to work properly from a wind/breath
controller or other similar midi device??
