OK folks,
Here are three links to three files with the separated banks, sorted by
category for the A6.
http://www.synthmusic.info/mp3s/andy/Midi-files.sit
http://www.synthmusic.info/mp3s/andy/Sysex-files.sit
http://www.synthmusic.info/mp3s/andy/Librarian-files.sit
The files are stuffed with Stuffit.
Some categories have several banks of course, becayse they exist out of more
then 128 sounds. The number of sounds in a bank can be seen from the
filename, i.e.
09 Pads A (128).syx
09 Pads B (128).syx
09 Pads C (69).syx
All Sysexfiles contains 128 sounds, be it real sounds or init programs. I
have no clue how to get rid of the initsounds when dumping the userbank to
my mac. So "09 Pads C (69).syx contains 69 pads, from slot 000 to 068. 069
to 127 are init-sounds!
All Midifiles contains only the sounds.
I know, I know... There are still tweaks and changes to make. Please be
patient, i will keep working on the files. Also, I will separate the Pads
into three categories, like suggested by Robert: Strings, Brass and Pads.
I will also add a "Synth" category for sounds that do not fit in one of the
other categories (like those BIG sounds with fast attacks, that can not be
put into the keys section for instance).
There are also still a few doubles to delete.
But at least we have a start now :-))
Feel free to send me your own sounds if they are not in these banks yet.
(the complete list with names of sounds is in the "andy" folder as well, see
last weeks email on the list)
BEWARE: I need a midi, sysex or Librarianfile, where you describe in your
email where the sound(s) are located in the bank! It would also be nice if
you add the prefered category :-)
Enjoy!
Boele
