You could use the analogX delay calculator tool from here:
http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio.htm

Loads of usefull and free little tools.

It would indeed be nice to be able to module the effects but as far as I
can tell, they don't have smoothing so changing parameters causes alot of
unwanted crackle. Try setting up a flanger with alot of feedback and then
change the delay time, pop snap and crackle!
