On the other hand, I had to return my first A6. They didn't fix it even
though I described the problem in such a simple way so anyone could
trigger it and figure how to fix it. The finally sent me a new one in
the box from California. What do they do with my non working one? Maybe
fail to fix it again and sell it as a "B-Stock"

It is also very possible that dealers are using "B-stock" as a way to
get around Alesis' Minimum Advertised Price restrictions. They just
take an A-stock item and declare that it is B-stock and they can
advertise it a lower price in order to move a slow-selling item.
I know we have been sitting on our Andromeda's for almost a year now and
I am sure zzounds.com would just like to move such an expensive item.
