No the joysticks are actually midi controllers (along with the three knobs)
which are run through a Doepfer PocketElectronics module, so they are mapped
to the A-H free MIDI controllers in the modmatrix of the Andromeda.  The
buttons are hardwired parallel into the sustain pedal and footpedal jacks so
present alternate means to use those jacks.
