[A6] A6 with Sonar

Is there any way to record the A6 in Sonar using a different sound for each 
midi channel?  Or is the only way to record is by using the Mix mode?  I am 
having a bit of difficulty recording more than one A6 sound in Sonar using 
more than one track.  There doesn't seem to be a way to record more than one 
track, each with a different sound.  Am I missing something?  Thanks for any 
help.
