Hi Michael,

I'm getting a second hand A6 in a Gator GK-261R flight case, and I have 
the same problem.  Currently the thing is in Boston.

We found a place that will do custom-fitted foam for only $30, there 
might be something in your area that's similar.  Seems much better than 
bubble wrap and lots of styrofoam popcorn.

Checkout www.hwcpackaging.com -- they have shots of the foam fitting 
process.  They charge by volume of foam required, I only needed 1 cubic 
foot, you might need more since your case is bigger.  They said I could 
cut little pockets in the foam to fit things like the foot pedal in as well.
