FM: What gear has impressed you recently?

NR: The Alesis Andromeda. It's spectacular, although some of the sounds are
a little digital. But there's no doubt that it's the first synth for years
that I've picked up and just fallen in love with. You can make those big
warm sounds, it's completely reliable, the sequencing and arpeggio
possibilities are really well laid out and user friendly. It's all laid out,
just like the other guys. It's a spectacular instrument.


The Devils' Dark Circles album is out now on Fullfill Records, and a new
Duran Duran album is out later this year.
