[A6] midi diagnosis

Wow, what a relief about that midi jack. Sorry about the noob attack but I've 
noticed something else which has got me worried again. I've been reading the 
compiled tips & tricks which are great and I discovered the LED diagnostic 
which makes all the lights go on when you hit soft button 1 after you power up 
holding soft button 2. In this mode you hit soft button 2 again to do midi 
diagnostic, which I did and it replied "midi test failed" :-( Bugger! I've 
enabled the NRPN knob sending and stuff, and I've been recording midi, ribbon, 
mod wheels in cubase and playing them back seemingly ok, I haven't noticed a 
problem.. I haven't managed to find anything about the tests and I'm a bit 
worried that it might be something to do with sysex or something else that I 
haven't tried yet. My unit shipped with OS 1.40.12 btw. Are you supposed to be 
transmitting midi data to the Andy during the test or something? Anyone have 
any more info on what the midi test does and how to dig deeper and trouble 
shoot this?
