The DFX section is not connected to the midi section. This would require a
hardware upgrade.

Use a sustain pedal. I always use it to demonstrate Andy. You have to set
the CNTL >>> SUSPDL to ON in Mix mode.

I need some clarification about the ribbon split. In my point of view the
ribbon can be split.

In general: forget about it to get Alesis back to work on Andy. Most
Andromeda era employees don't work there anymore. Almost everything you guys
mentioned has been the subject of discussion many years ago... There was
always a good reason for making Andy the way it is. We have to accept that.
