[A6] Questions

i must agree with this advice - the A6 is one hell of a challenge, 
even for experienced synthesists. the manual is actually a pretty 
good imho  

but do not despair: i think many of us experienced the same or 
similar problems when we first got our new babies home. The 
internal/external control & clock conundrum got me puzzled also but 
after a while i figured it out. but the a6 is still "playing tricks" 
on me, sometimes a hidden or unnoticed setting can totally negate 
what you are trying to do.

indeed... i got mine in June 2002 and i still haven't really messed 
with Envelope modes yet f.i. just because there are so many other 
interesting things & sounds to discover.

but once you "grok" it you won't believe your ears - this synth is so 
deep and complex it really is a polyphonic (pseudo)modular IMHO
