  Agreed.  I had no real intention to buy one before hearing it, because I
really try to ignore hype.  However, once I played it I was sold.  Others may
not feel the same way.  To paraphrase Mike Peake, ignore the hype--it is what
it is.  If you like that (as I do) then great!  If you don't then you won't
like it.

  Also, remember that the A6 is not cheap.  People bitch and moan about
problems with expensive things far more than they do about cheap things.

  Yep.  Furthermore, if you go into a store to try one, think in advance of
some things that you want to try.  I did, and studied a little of the A6's UI
so that I could accomplish them quickly.  If I had just wandered up to it with
no preparation I'm sure I would have been dissapointed.  The A6 isn't poorly
designed by any means, but its depth does make it a little weird.

  I have, however, used the A6 for beeps and bloops quite successfully.  :-P
