Thanks David for the picks it clarified a lot!

As it looks, the A6 seams arranged like this, for each "dual" ASO, ASF
ASIC (4 oscillator and 4 filter, vca, etc) there is one Burr-Brown PCM54

16bit DAC (15 bit monotoicity accuarucy?!) a external OPAMP as buffer
for the DAC voltage or DAC current and then the MUX and the MUX buffers
are internally to each ASO and ASF (the number of cappacitors
suorunding
them sugest that strongly).

Whats peculiar (from a engineering point of wiev, and completely
(uninteresting from a musicans point;,,, ie, as long its accurate its
ok! ;-)
is the usage of four separate DAC's, quite expencive solution in one
way!

>From a HW hacker point its quite easy to add 16 separate external filter
inputs
if you like, just figuring out where the Oscillator signals are going,
then add a low
noise input buffer stage and perhaps a signal limiter to protect the
Filter asics.
A monster filter bank i suppose! :-)

And when your at it why not put in a CV buffer board (great care must be
taken
when buffering the internal CV muxes (or get a PCM 54 add 4051 some
capps
and buffers connect it parralell to one of the internal PCM54's tap of
the 8 bits
going to each ASO ASF and you can a have a A6 to CV generator for your
modular system!!

Whos first out to frying your warranty?? :-)
