The A6 has a blue LED on the rear panel while the Voyager Signature Edition has
blue LEDs under the clear pitch/mod wheels.
How's that for comparision? :)
Mark hit most of the points, while I'll add that the touchpad is tons of fun to
play with. The touchpad is really expressive. The filters are really really
nice for the resonant qualities they can get, especially having a pair which
yields some wild stereo movement. The A6 Moog 24dB filter lost something when
shrunk down to an ASIC, although the A6 Oberheim 12dB still sounds creamy.
The Voyager is the only keyboard I've found that can nail the classic Minimoog
G-R-O-W-L, and I've got six other Moogs that couldn't do it. It can go way
beyond the original Minimoog, although the A6 has it beat in the modulation
department. I just nailed a great electric bass guitar on the A6 using
modulations that aren't possible on the Voyager.
There are places for great analog polysynths, as there are for analog
monosynths. It comes down to having the right tool for the job.
There's at least two more on the list who own both the A6 and the Voyager.
