My main stand is: Jupiter-8/PPG 2.3/Yamaha DX-1 w. Jellinghaus DX programmer.
Second stand is : Jupiter-6/Synthex/Chroma/Roland rack programmers (PG-1000,
PG-800, PG-300, MPG-80)
(The A6 is grouped with the MemoryMoog, another JP-8, and a PolyMoog)

Mainly because I've had the PPG and JP-8 the longest and know them really
well. The DX-1/programmer is great because programming FM with knobs,
buttons, and lots of displays leads to a lot of cool, non-DX sounding sounds.

As I get back into the A6, I'm starting to think I need to thin the keyboard
herd some more. Probably the next to go would be the OB-8, Juno 60, a
patched out Avatar, and a Jupiter-4. So if anyone's looking, let me know.

It's probably more of a mindset than anything else, but I can sit down and
noodle aroud with the JP-8 and PPG whereas ever time I sit with the A6, it's
a more purposeful session (ie - I'm working on a patch with a particular sound
in mind). I think it also gets back to Frank's earlier comments about the
deepness of the A6, despite all the front panel controls.
