That's not true.

Somewhere in the archives Mike Peake and others at Alesis confirm that 
the Andromeda had NOTHING to do with Alesis's financial troubles.

With fifteen years of software development in my belt and having been on 
the beta test team, I can verify that the development process was VERY 
organized and efficient, certainly not haphazard in the least.  I've 
been on my share of "Dilbert" project teams, and this was not one of them.

Case of point: the original OS development team was a separate company 
called Extreme Measures, not Alesis.  After Alesis took over OS 
development, they corrected some rather glaring inefficiencies in the OS.
