No but it will be a big marketting advantage to be able to edit sounds of
the A6 from a PC or a MAC

For the Envelope problem Michael Haydn said that the modification involve a
lot as the format of file the SD adaptation will have to be changed to
handle more digits for this parameter.

To make the A6 adaptation I have used SD dev feature, The solution is to
write an adaptation in "C", this may be a year of work ! I don't speak C

The modification on the Alesis side is quite small so far ;
- "Can you add the Child/parent for the shapes (1327 to 1331)"
- There is a lot of problems with the sys-ex documentation as you must dig
the information from 2 tables, and name and values are different in the 2
tables and there are a few typo !!
