Why are Alesis and Emagic not cooperating?
As others mentioned before, there are not many A6 owners; it is a (great)
VERY expensive keyboard that was not a success financially.

Alesis has new owners and most of their former employees (including those who
worked on the A6) are not there. Those who work there are very busy on new
projects, as most businesses keep their employees busy all the time. To pay a
talented employee to re-learn A6 code makes them NO money, in fact, it makes
them worse off financially.

This is certainly something we could all figure out. It is frustrating yes,
but makes a lot of sense. Emagic has bit more of a reason, as SoundDiver IS
still a popular product (is it?) and more people might buy it if this is
completed. However, they have their own projects that may make more sense than we can
know now... hopefully, this is understandable behaviour now.
