Yeah, my Kurzweil 1000 boxes and Korg SDD boxes do that.  Optimal use of 
resolution is not something that many boxes utilize.  I mean, what's the 
POINT of 2ms resolution on 100+ second transient other than looping in 
the form of an LFO...?
