[A6] Freezing up with envelope knobs after upgrading

Hi again

I had the following problem ([A6] freezing up/ strange
displays) :

I updated A6 with the latest operating system
(1.40.12) using the default program like David Evans
suggested. However the same happened like before,
adjusting envelope parameters freezes the machine. But
quite special is that the freezing comes with time!
The synth worked ok with the new os right after
updating. Next morning when I switched it on there was
some lack of updating envelope displays when using the
knobs. In the evening the machine froze immediately
when I tried to adjust the envelope knobs, even with
the default programs. This is quite strange behaviour,
memory fading with time, although the os should be in
flash rom? After I downgraded back to the original
1.40.02 everything works again perfectly.

Do you have any ideas what could be the problem, I'm
an electronic hobbyist myself and able to fix things
myself.
