[A6] andromeda alternatives?

i just love the sound of the a6 but its just too heavy to carry to gigs to
use as a multitimbral windsynth. What would you try if you the A6 imply
didn't exist? oberhiem expander? an Alesis VA?? Sequencer would be nice -
not not 100% necessary

my nord modular and evolver just don't sound sweet enough

Any ideas?
